In a particular case, a Measurement Computing PCI card worked fine in Neutrino 6.3.2, but not in 6.4.x and newer versions. Between these versions, we made a change to reject PCI devices with invalid PCI class codes. This will cause them not to show up in the output of the 'pci' utility. Our guess is that some manufacturers making PCI cards which don't clearly fit any of the existing class codes intentionally pick a value outside of the existing codes.
To solve this problem, you can run 'pci-bios' with the -c option, which will instruct it to accept PCI devices with invalid class codes.
