NuDesign provides highly automated Multiprotocol SNMP Agent generation tools for the QNX® Neutrino® RTOS. The developers can quickly create agents with SNMP / HTTP / CLI access (console, serial, Telnet or SSH) to managed information. The code generation wizard generates C++ agent code as well as an immediately compilable project for use with the QNX Momentics® IDE. The wizard also generates MIB-specific web pages modifiable for a custom look and feel. A MIB II subagent for QNX Neutrino® is included with the product. A standalone Agent or Master Agent and dynamically loadable extension subagent structures are supported. The tools consist of:

• Visual MIBuilder, an application for visually building your system's management information objects model (MIB) in SMIv1 / SMIv2 grammar.
• Visual Embedded xAgentBuilder for C++, the SNMPv3/HTTP/CLI Agent Source Code and Project Files Generation Wizard (generates source code, headers and Make files for QNX Momentics IDE).
• Visual SNMP Traffic Monitor, an easy to use application that provides capture, custom filtering, decoding, storage and retrieval for later review of SNMPv1/v2c/v3 exchanges, including encrypted. The data is parsed and displayed using object’s MIB names.
• Visual MIBrowser Pro, the SNMPv3 management application, an essential tool in development and testing phases. Includes SNMPv3 configurations, SNMP packet tracing, and scripting capability for generating agent specific test cases.
• CLI Code Generation Framework, application for creation of hierarchical CLI. The Framework implements command hierarchy navigation, command completion, command line editing, history and provides a basic set of common commands. It is very easy to extend this CLI with custom commands and device configuration in a few simple steps.
