The QNX Extended Networking TDK provides source, utilities & other tools required by developers of networking devices to support advanced networking protocols such as IPv6, IPSec, SCTP and SNMP.
This patch updates npm-tcpip-v6.so to fix a Denial of Service vulnerability where receipt of a specially crafted network packet forces the io-net network manager to fault and terminate. [QNX Ref# 53744, CERT VU#110947] This patch is for use with QNX Momentics 6.3.2 or QNX Momentics 6.3.0 SP3 with the Extended Networking TDK. This patch corrects a number of issues affecting the Neutrino full TCP/IP stack contained in the Extended Networking Technology Development Kit 1.0.1; See the Release Notes for details. It is dependent on the 'Maintenance Patch for Momentics 6.3.0 SP2 Network Protocol Components [Patch ID 234]' for support binaries. This patch is not dependant on and includes all components from [Patch ID 41]. This patch is for use with QNX Momentics 6.3.0 SP2 and the QNX Neutrino Core OS 6.3.2 update.
