Appendix: Voyager & PDM

This chapter shows you how to add Voyager and the dialer to the PDM. Topics include:

• Adding the dialer icon

Adding Voyager to the PDM

To add the Voyager icon to the PDM launch bar:

1. Click the Configuration tool:

   

2. Select the Applications folder.
3. Type Voyager Browser in the Application Name field. Voyager Browser will appear in the popup balloon when you pause your mouse pointer over the Voyager Browser icon on the PDM launch bar.
4. Type voyager in the Command field and press Enter. This pulls the standard Voyager icon out of the binary.

   Optional: add command-line options. For example, run Voyager in a shell:

   sh -c "SOCK=1 voyager"

5. Click Add and Ok.

Adding the dialer icon

You can use the above procedure to add the dialer to your PDM launch bar with the following changes:

• select the Utilities folder
• type Internet Dialer in the Application Name field and dialer in the Command field.
