rand()

Generate a pseudo-random integer

Synopsis:

int rand( void );

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The rand() function computes a pseudo-random integer in the range 0 to RAND_MAX. You can start the sequence at different values by calling srand().

The rand_r() function is a thread-safe version of rand().

Returns:

A pseudo-random integer.
