posix_spawnattr_getsigdefault()

Get the “default signals” attribute of a spawn attributes object

Synopsis:

#include <spawn.h>

int posix_spawnattr_getsigdefault(
       const posix_spawnattr_t *_Restrict attrp,
       sigset_t *_Restrict sigset_p);

Arguments:

attrp
A pointer to the spawn attributes object that you want to query.
sigset_p
A pointer to a location where the routine can store the set of signals that are to be handled as per the default behavior.

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The posix_spawnattr_getsigdefault() function obtains the value of the “default signals” attribute from the attributes object referenced by attrp, and stores it in the signal set pointed to by sigset_p. You must have already initialized the spawn attributes object by calling posix_spawnattr_init().

This attribute represents the set of signals that will use the default signal handling in the new process image created by a spawn operation if POSIX_SPAWN_SETSIGDEF is set in the spawn-flags attribute; to set this flag, call the POSIX function posix_spawnattr_setflags(), or the QNX Neutrino function posix_spawnattr_setxflags().

To set the value of this attribute, call posix_spawnattr_setsigdefault().

For more information about spawn attributes, see the entry for posix_spawn().

Returns:

EOK
Success.
EINVAL
An argument was invalid.
