What's in this patch?
This patch contains security updates to snmpd. The following files are installed under $QNX_TARGET, under the subdirectories for each supported target platform:
- ARMBE:
- armbe/usr/sbin/snmpd
- ARMLE:
- armle/usr/sbin/snmpd
- MIPSBE:
- mipsbe/usr/sbin/snmpd
- MIPSLE:
- mipsle/usr/sbin/snmpd
- PPCBE:
- ppcbe/usr/sbin/snmpd
- SHLE:
- shle/usr/sbin/snmpd
- x86:
- x86/usr/sbin/snmpd
Fixed issues
This patch addresses the following:
- The snmpd daemon formerly could fault due to an uninitialized structure that could have caused snmpd to access an invalid pointer during a request. This has been fixed. (Ref# 21965)
